A straight upward trending line is what many people think success is like if they do all these things that you’re taught to do.
And in fact, what I’ve found out is it looks something more like a squiggly line, one that goes in all different directions and loops back on itself, but eventually trends upward.
I coach a lot of people that are terrified about making mistakes. Success is what happens after you’ve learned from those mistakes. If you haven’t made any mistakes the good part is you’ll never fail, the bad part is you’ll never succeed.
