As a former Wall Streeter, I was running the race along with everyone else. I am also a mountaineer – I have climbed a lot of mountains all over the world. During our ascension on Mt. Kilimanjaro, it hit me how much this journey was like a career.
When the climbing team set our goal to ascend Mt. Kilimanjaro and making it safely back home, we had three things in mind.
- Set a goal – our team goal
- Move one step at a time to get to the top
- You can’t do it alone.
There has never been a shortcut on any mountain I climb and there isn’t a shortcut to the career you want!
