What is it about lists? We love them. Any marketer will tell you, lists are key to creating compelling content. Make a “Top List of…” anything, and people will read it! Perhaps it’s the compartmentalized information—this notion that you won’t have to work too hard to get the best snippets of information. Whatever it is, we are in the time of year where they SURROUND us. We’ve just concluded one year and started a new one, which means lists and more lists of the “Top Greatest…” and the “Top Worst…” of the previous year are circulating around.
So, in the spirit of giving the people what they want, I’ve compiled my own “Top Ten List of Top Lists” for you digest as you kick off the New Year with new goals. Take a look at any of the following lists that I’ve shared over the last year as a reference and share your thoughts.
