There is nothing inspirational about telling someone about your app. What is inspirational is, “I can solve your problem,” “I can help your child,” “I can fix your car.” Now that’s something else! Because often times when we go to make the pitch, we don’t really understand the aspiration of the person we are talking to, we’re just busy selling the features.
Do you in your entrepreneurial spirit feel that you are provoking change? The answer should be yes!
If you’ve created an app and you have not created a provocation, how are you selling your thing? The only way you can sell it is provoke someone to do something they otherwise wouldn’t do. I’ve never heard of your app. But if you’re going to expect me to buy your app or whatever it is you’re developing you’re going to have to provoke something in my mind that will cause a trigger to buy your thing.
